We are looking for candidates to add to our Traveling Technologist team. We offer a leveled-up training experience for our employees to prepare for resilient, autonomous work in the field. This specialized field puts you in control of treating patients directly, with the guidance of a Urologist. You would be trained by highly skilled technologists that have been in the field for many years. MORE THAN 40 STATES Traveling Technologists are trained and credentialed to work throughout the US. We pay for work-related travel expenses. At each work (route) destination, our Travelers are mobile Surgical Laser Technologists. WE ARE NEXTMED! We use empirical data to hone our craft and deliver outstanding patient care. SKILLS and RESPONSIBILITIES: Frequent travel on a weekly basis Transport medical equipment to various medical facilities to include loading and unloading of all pertinent equipment to perform the procedure. Operate laser in operating room and assist physician during URS cases. Document required case activities in accordance with company policies while adhering to HIPAA guidelines. Other duties as assigned. COMPENSATION: Education and experience may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. REQUIREMENTS: Operating room experience preferred. Surgical technician experience or sterile processing experience a plus. Ability to push, pull and/or manipulate over 100 pounds of medical equipment. Strong communication skills in communication with a variety of audiences.
