Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Lebanon, PA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Weekends Every Other Weekend | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, including patients with cardiac disease, stroke, joint replacements, respiratory conditions, and peritoneal dialysis needs
• Care for post-operative patients transitioning from ICU to Medical Surgical floors, including occasional stable open heart surgery patients
• Support observation and fast-turnaround patient populations as needed
• Float to Medical Surgical floors and potentially rehabilitation units; may assist on OB unit in a supportive capacity
• Collaborate with program coordinators to deliver high-quality patient education, including CHF and Stroke programs
• Adhere to facility infection control protocols, including potential care of COVID-positive patients

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license with no license hits
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or ARC only)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting with exposure to cardiac, stroke, or post-surgical patient populations
• Familiarity with peritoneal dialysis patient care
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam within 72 hours of contract signing
