New hires will start in January 2027 or June 2027.   Our Early Career Development Program (ECDP) is a one-year rotational program within The HNI Company providing participants with a series of cross functional opportunities in multiple areas of our business including manufacturing, product development, quality, supply chain and front-line leadership.  Participants of the ECDP work closely with multiple functions to gain a holistic view of our business and culture.  Members of the ECDP join an organization with a vision and passion for implementing solutions and exceeding our customers’ expectations.  Participating in the ECDP affords individuals early in their career the opportunity to build solid, hands-on foundational skills within a lean manufacturing organization.  Members participating in the program are given mentoring and guidance providing them with continuous feedback and robust learning opportunities.  Program Highlights:  On-going career development and growth focused on your skills and aspirations Dedicated business-leader mentor and continuous feedback Opportunity to network with our leadership teams Provide a meaningful contribution to our business by learning while doing Exposure to various areas of the rotational department within the organization providing the opportunity to explore areas of interest Once you’ve completed the rotational development program, you’ll be prepared for a role likely within one of the rotational functions. Where you will begin will be in part based on your talents and strengths, your interests, and available roles upon program completion.
