Software Engineer IV (Full Stack .NET / React)
Charlotte, NC | Atlanta, GA | Birmingham, AL | Georgia (hybrid- onsite 3 days per week)
12-month contract to hire
Pay Rate: $80.00 - $84.00per hr.
Our client needs a Level 4 Software Engineer to support the development and modernization of a digital origination platform supporting consumer banking products including checking, savings, and credit card applications. This is a hands-on engineering role (approx. 80% coding) focused on feature development, technical debt reduction, and cloud modernization initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain features in a .NET and React-based application
- Develop and enhance consumer banking application flows
- ddress technical debt and improve system stability
- Support modernization efforts and platform refactoring initiatives
- Collaborate within Agile teams to deliver user stories
- Participate in future migration efforts toward AWS cloud infrastructure
- Contribute to system design discussions and implementation improvements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
- Seven (7) years of experience
- Strong experience in .NET development
- Strong experience with React frontend development
- Experience working in enterprise application environments
- bility to independently deliver features and enhancements
- WS cloud experience (strongly preferred)
- Experience with containerized environments (OpenShift or similar)
- Background in banking or financial services
- Experience working on modernization or legacy-to-cloud transitions
