Job Skills / Requirements A Security Officer is responsible for protecting people, property, and assets by maintaining a safe and secure environment. Common job duties include: Patrol assigned areas on golfcart prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access. Respond to emergencies, alarms, accidents, or security incidents promptly. Write detailed incident, accident, and daily activity reports. Enforce company policies, rules, and safety procedures. Conduct security inspections and identify potential safety hazards. Coordinate with law enforcement, fire departments, or emergency responders when necessary. Protect company property and confidential information. Investigate suspicious activities and report findings to supervisors.
