Overview RN – Oncology at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children’s Hospital. The Oncology Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to cancer patients, ensuring patient‑focused, compassionate care with a whole‑person focus. Responsibilities • Deliver specialized nursing care to cancer patients in an acute care setting.• Apply evidence‑based practice to support patient health and recovery.• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.• Monitor patients, administer medications, and manage acute situations.• Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Washington Registered Nurse license upon hire. BLS – American Heart Association certification upon hire. At least one year of acute care experience with a patient population similar to the oncology department, or completion of the specialty residency located at the facility. Benefits Competitive base pay range of $41.74 – $77.17 per hour, with potential for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities.
