Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Brighton, CO, requiring 1 year of ED experience and multiple required certifications including TNCC and ENPC.

Details

• Works in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• 13-week contract
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during a regularly scheduled shift
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience required
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Required certifications (all must be AHA-issued and valid through the start of the assignment): BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for ED patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and execution of delegated medical functions
• Documents patient care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment and monitors therapy and treatment plans
• Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
