Overnight Registered Nurse

Step into a rewarding role supporting students with unique needs as an Overnight Registered Nurse for a specialized educational setting. This onsite, contract opportunity offers the chance to make a real difference in a school dedicated to serving visually impaired students. Work closely with a caring team, providing overnight care from 11 pm to 7 am, Sunday through Thursday, in a supportive and collaborative environment.

What you’ll bring:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Pennsylvania)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in pediatric nursing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
• Prior school nursing experience is ideal
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively to medical situations overnight
• Strong communication and organization skills

Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring and caring for students overnight, addressing health concerns as they arise
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Maintaining accurate health records and documentation
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support each student's needs
• Providing immediate care and triage in emergencies
• Educating staff and students on health and wellness best practices as needed
