Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) specialist in a teaching-level acute care hospital setting. This position involves supporting cardiovascular and neuro surgical procedures within a fast-paced environment, providing expertise in OR duties with a focus on open heart surgeries. The role demands flexibility to meet staffing needs, including on-call requirements and working up to every other weekend.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, starting on 10/05/2026 and ending on 01/04/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in operating room settings focused on open heart and neuro surgeries. Candidate must hold current state license or be eligible to obtain one. No prior travel experience necessary.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic documentation system is preferred; prior OR experience with cardiac and neuro procedures is highly desired.
• Float: Main OR float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidate must be capable of supporting procedures such as abdominal aortic aneurysm repairs, coronary artery bypass grafts, and neuro surgeries. Epical support and flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and on-call shifts are essential.
