Registered Nurse RN Adult Acute Care

Location: Chandler, Arizona. Department: PCU-3rd Floor. Shift: Night (7:00pm-7:30am, 3x12-hour shifts). Staffing: 30-bed unit blending Telemetry and Med/Surg. Pay: Base wages + 18% night shift differential + $3/hr weekend differential. Bonus: $15,000 hire-on eligible for RN’s with 12 months experience, requires 2-year commitment. This 30-bed unit is fully Telemetry-capable and utilizes smart technology (e.g., Care Aware). As an RN, you will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for adult acute-care patients, ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. Core Functions Assess patient’s physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge needs; review history, diagnostics, and laboratory data; report abnormal results. Formulate individualized plans of care, including discharge plans, and revise plans based on patient progress. Implement the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of the health-care team. Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching; revise the plan of care as needed. Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the patient record in a legible, timely manner. Provide evidence-based care; participate in research, unit leadership, and orientation of personnel. Contribute to patient outcomes through quality improvement activities and professional organization participation. Supervise staff and workflow in some roles. Interact with all levels of staff, external contacts, and clergy to support patient and family needs. Minimum Qualifications Current, valid RN license in the state of practice (or temporary/interim/compact license). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. At least 1 year of acute-care RN experience within the past 12 months (or as specified for registry/travel roles). Experience within the specialty area sought (e.g., adult acute care). For travel or registry positions, 1-year acute-care experience required. Possession of a valid driver’s license and, for Home Health, personal vehicle and active auto insurance. Any required fingerprint clearance cards for specific facilities. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Professional certification (e.g., CCU, PACU, telemetry).
