POSITION SUMMARY:

A Service Development Representative (SDR) at Freedom Behavioral Lake Charles is responsible for supporting the development and execution of business and marketing strategies to meet facility goals. This role helps implement strategic outreach plans to strengthen referrals and expand access to care.

The SDR gathers information from referral sources, meets with potential patients, and conducts pre-admission screenings as a liaison between referring professionals and the hospital to determine admission eligibility. They communicate screening results and recommendations to patients, families, and referral sources in accordance with company policy.

This position is also actively involved in community outreach, promoting mental health awareness and prevention while providing education and consultation as needed. SDRs build and maintain strong relationships with community partners and referral networks to ensure a coordinated continuum of care.

The overall goal of this role is to enhance access to services and improve the quality of life for individuals referred to Freedom Behavioral Lake Charles.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Education:  Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing preferred, or Business Development Experience with a focus on healthcare.

License: N/A

Experience: A minimum of  two (2) years of experience in Sales or Development in the healthcare  and/or medical  industry is required

• Proven experience in marketing/sales/customer service and or a clinical educator.
• Accustom to using mobile tools and applications
• Acquired ability to observe goals as minimum standards and always strives to exceed minimum standards
• Proficient knowledge of tablets and smart phones
