Join us and be part of a team that's redefining what's possible in fluid technology.Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Distribution Center Manager to oversee and direct all warehouse operations at our Montgomery, Alabama facility. This role is responsible for managing receiving, warehousing, inventory control, shipping, and distribution activities. The Warehouse Manager ensures operational efficiency, accuracy, regulatory compliance, safety, and team development across all warehouse functions.Key Responsibilities:Manage and direct all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shippingDevelop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to maximize efficiency and minimize costMonitor and manage warehouse budgets, labor costs, and key performance indicators (KPIs)Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels, accuracy, and alignment with demand across multiple product linesEnsure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and timely resolution of discrepanciesCoordinate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, and Customer Service teams to align warehouse operations with broader business objectivesManage relationships with carriers, freight brokers, and third-party logistics providers for both small parcel and LTL/FTL shipmentsPlan and optimize warehouse layout, slotting, and storage strategies to maximize space utilizationImplement and enforce safety standards, OSHA compliance, and operational procedures across the facilityLead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and increase throughputManage pick/pack operations and finished goods shipments to ensure on-time deliveryOversee facility maintenance, equipment upkeep, and vendor relationshipsPrepare and present operational reports, metrics, and forecasts to senior leadershipSupervisory ResponsibilitiesRecruit, interview, and select qualified warehouse staff based on skills, knowledge, and job requirementsLead, mentor, and develop warehouse supervisors, team leads, and associatesManage performance through regular evaluations, goal-setting, coaching, and ongoing trainingDirect daily task assignments and provide guidance and support as neededPartner with HR on disciplinary actions, employee relations, and workforce planningManage work schedules, staffing levels, and overtime to meet operational demandsApprove PTO requests, timesheets, and ensure accurate labor trackingQualifications:5+ years of progressive warehouse or distribution center experience, with at least 2 years in a management role (required)Demonstrated ability to manage teams of 15+ employees across multiple shiftsStrong experience with inventory management, shipping/receiving, and distribution operationsExperience with small parcel and LTL/FTL shipment managementProficiency with warehouse management systems (SAP preferred)Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsKnowledge of OSHA safety regulations, compliance requirements, and warehouse best practicesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a warehouse environmentBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred); equivalent combination of education and experience consideredScheduleFull-time, approximately 40+ hours/week (additional hours may be required during peak periods)On-site at the Montgomery, Alabama facilityWhat We Offer:Competitive compensationCareer growth opportunities – we prioritize internal promotionsGenerous 401k matchComprehensive health benefits, including medical, vision and dental coverage and TelemedicinePaid vacation and holidaysTuition assistance program – support for continued education and professional developmentPlease note: A pre-employment background check, including a criminal record check and drug testing, is required. xhyhwjd PFX is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
