It services infants, children, and adults with developmental and related disabilities. NJID offers specialized facilities, programs, and support throughout New Jersey. We hire direct support professionals to assist residents with developmental disabilities with daily living activities in a residential setting. Responsibilities Assist and supervise activities related to daily living skills. Administer or assist with prescribed medication. Light housekeeping Assist with transportation Assist in the implementation of individual goals and objectives. Data entry using Therap (EHR) Assist residents in pursuing recreational, social, and community activities based on their preferences and individual plans. Qualifications HS diploma or equivalent A valid driver's license in good standing and must be insurable through NJID's automobile insurance. Strong communication skills NO certification required Position Details Location: Toms River County: Ocean Hours Per Work Week: 24 Weekly Work Schedule: Mon 2:30p-10:30p, Sat 3:30p-11:30p & Sun 3:30p-11:30p Other shifts are available at this location. NJID has full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities in Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, and Somerset Counties.
