IT Specialist (infosec)

You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the Advanced Radars Systems Division, Electromagnetic & Sensor Systems Department of NSWCDD This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13/14. The salary range shown represents all positions within the band including GS-14 equivalent (high grade) positions. This is not a high grade position; the salary may be limited to GS-13 Step 10 (currently $158,322) Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/GS12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: implementing Department of Defense (DoD) or Department of the Navy (DON) Cybersecurity Program in accordance with cybersecurity policies, standards, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements. Examples of qualifying experience may include: (1) continuous monitoring and protection of computer systems, networks, and data from vulnerabilities and unauthorized access; (2) maintaining, troubleshooting, configuring, and upgrading systems, software, and infrastructure; (3) complying with the rules and regulations outlined in the Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG); (4) implementing, and evaluating cybersecurity policies, procedures, and security controls while providing technical guidance and recommendations to leadership on cybersecurity risk and compliance.
