Home Medical Equipment Sleep Clinician

Position Summary Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Home Medical Equipment Sleep Clinician to join our Health Care Products team. Collaborates with the Health Care Team in treating sleep breathing disorders and providing instruction and services to patients. Assists the CPAP Services Team in providing sleep‑related medical equipment efficiently and helps patients become compliant with therapy. Instructs and educates patients on the use of Home Care products for treating Sleep Disorder Breathing. Provides continuing education, follow‑up, inventory and ordering of supplies, cleaning, testing, and maintenance of returned products, and documentation for billing of equipment and supplies. Works closely with the Sleep Center, Pulmonary/Sleep Clinic, and other CPAP Services staff. May lead certain projects, lead and teach clinical staff, and may be required to travel to all CPAP locations within a given week. Performs other duties as assigned. Work Schedule Mon‑Fri 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Required Qualifications Three years’ experience in a healthcare setting. MN Respiratory Therapy license. BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of sleep breathing disorders and therapeutic modalities used to treat the disorder. Knowledge of medical center charting and billing procedures. Ability to communicate effectively with the patient care team. Ability to collaborate with the health care team in delivery of patient care interventions. Ability to troubleshoot problems with home medical equipment, especially CPAP equipment. Ability to read a patient medical history and compliance report to determine PAP interventions that improve compliance. Preferred Qualifications Five years’ experience in a healthcare setting.
