WHO YOU’LL WORK WITHWe work closely with fellow merchants, buyers and cross-functional teams within NA Nike Direct; Digital and Stores Buying, Geo Sport Merchandising, Planning, Allocation, and Brand Marketing. The Merchandising team understands consumer needs and market opportunities to craft the product mix. We blend art with science to bring Nike’s vision to life. The team has the ability to see beyond trends and identify new market opportunities, delivering the right product, at the right price, in the right place, at the right time.The candidate should possess proven retail competence and analytical abilities, have an understanding of stores and digital environments, and bring a consumerist perspective to the team and business. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or related field. You will understand and integrate holistic NikeSKIMS strategy for NA Direct Merchandising with a focus on assortment size, capacity tiers, strength and timing of flow. You will understand related aspects of the business and marketplace in making your plans, including coordinating between sports, brands (NikeSKIMS, Nike & Jordan) and how individual products or collections impact each other. You will collaborate cross functionally to ensure assortment plans meet consumer demand and flow strategies execute. You will hone consumer-centric assortment plans across multiple seasons with an understanding of Nike Direct’s position in the market & competitive landscape to blend fact-based and intuitive inputs.
