Job Description Job Description An associate DVM that has 1-3 years of prior experience in urgent care or emergency medicine. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, have the ability to provide a flexible work schedule, and the availability to start as soon as possible. Job Duties are as followed: * Advises animal owners on general care, feeding, sanitary measures, medical conditions and treatment options. * Examines animals to detect and determine the nature of diseases or injuries. * Collects body tissue, feces, blood, urine, or other body fluids for examination and analysis. * Treats sick or injured animals by prescribing medication, setting bones, dressing wounds, or performing surgery. * Monitors pre- and post-operative care. * Euthanizes animals. * Attend lectures, conferences, or continuing education courses. * *The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
