And today, we're the nation's leader in varicose and spider vein care, offering a variety of nearly pain-free solutions to eliminate unsightly and uncomfortable veins.As the nationally recognized leader in the treatment of vein disease and venous insufficiency, CVR's hiring philosophy is simple: Attract and train the most qualified individuals and provide them the opportunity to strive for excellence and advance their career goals.Our Patient Services Representatives Enjoy:Fast paced, learning work environmentNo weekends/no nightsBonus eligibilityMedical, Dental & Vision insuranceTuition reimbursement401k ProgramPTO + 8 paid holidaysCenters closed for holidaysOpportunity for continued growth & developmentSchedule and Locations:Monday through Wednesday (Float - Possible clinics Columbia, Bel Air, Glen Burnie, Towson, Annapolis, Easton, Rehoboth, Salisbury)6:30 AM - 5 PMFriday6 AM - 4 PMFour 10-hour shiftsResponsibilities:Patient Service Representatives greet patients in a friendly and professional manner and check in/outEnsure that all CVR policies and procedures are distributed, understood, and implemented by all assigned center staff membersEnsure compliance in all assigned centers that all patient charts are up to date, HIPAA compliant, proper input of demographics, procedures, payments into NextGenThe Patient Service Representatives will review scheduling and financial responsibilities and referrals with each patient throughout care.Send precertification forms at the close of business daily to the Precertification Department to account for all patients that require authorization prior to services being renderedEnsure that daily close tasks are completed, including fee tickets, billing tasks and operative notesReview future schedules to confirm that all patients have been preauthorized for treatmentThe Patient Service Representatives will obtain all new patient forms, properly update in NextGen/EHR; ensure that patient records are up to date in EHR/NextGenCollect necessary paperwork for patient appts such as authorizations, referrals, etc.Collect copays and patient balances at time of serviceSchedule and confirm appointments; collect email addresses from patientsQualifications:Minimum 1 year administrative or customer service experience, preferably in a medical settingMust have reliable transportation to clinics that may not be accessible by public transportationMust be able to travel to CVR Towson, Bel Air, Glen Burnie, Columbia, Annapolis, Easton, Salisbury, and Rehoboth Clinics
