The Role – Financial Analyst II The Financial Analyst monitors and analyzes financial performance against plans and forecasts, delivering insights that support tactical and strategic decision-making. This role prepares financial reports, dashboards, and models; performs variance and trend analysis; and partners with leaders across the organization to improve profitability, efficiency, and financial processes. Responsibilities Create, distribute, and manage monthly and annual financial reporting and scorecards. Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements. Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts. Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards. Conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting budgets, expenses, and other financial projects. Collect and analyze financial information for assigned accounts, products or product lines, or business units to track the organization\'s progress against financial goals. Analyze cash flow, expenditures, revenue, and investments to make recommendations for action and/or modifications regarding financial procedures, plans, and controls. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or another related field. Minimum of three (3) years of experience within accounting, finance, finance analytics, or similar. Strong analytical and data gathering skills. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data query/data management tools. Good business acumen.
