Key Responsibilities of the RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

• Provide respiratory support including nasal cannula, CPAP, NAVA, and various ventilations
• Manage central lines, including PICC, UAC, UVC, and more
• Deliver IV therapy, vasopressor support, and manage sedation and paralytics
• Perform assessment/reassessment, NG/PO feedings, and administer medications
• Collaborate with ancillary departments to ensure exceptional care for infants

Requirements of the RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

• Must hold a valid BLS, NRP, and STABLE certification
• Level III NICU experience is essential - no exceptions
• A minimum of 2 years of NICU experience is required
• Ability to provide care for high-risk, critically ill preterm and term newborns
