Pay: $70–$85/hour, based on experience

Compassionate ABA & Therapeutic Services is seeking an experienced and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing multidisciplinary team as an independent contractor.

Our clinics serve children with autism and other developmental and communication needs. We are looking for an SLP who is engaging, dependable, clinically strong, and passionate about helping children develop meaningful communication skills.

Responsibilities

The SLP will:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals
• Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy
• Treat areas including receptive and expressive language, articulation, social/pragmatic communication, and functional communication
• Support AAC and alternative communication systems when clinically appropriate
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment recommendations based on data
• Provide caregiver education and home recommendations
• Collaborate with BCBAs, behavior technicians, OTs/COTAs, caregivers, and other members of the treatment team
• Participate in care coordination when clinically appropriate
• Maintain professional, ethical, and confidentiality standards

Qualifications

Required:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Professional liability insurance appropriate for independent contractor practice
• Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Experience working with pediatric populations

Preferred:

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Experience with AAC
• Experience in outpatient, clinic-based, early intervention, or multidisciplinary settings
• Experience collaborating with ABA professionals
• Bilingual clinicians are strongly encouraged to apply
