Position Summary Under supervision and in accordance with procedures, you will receive members in person and by telephone, explain and promote all credit union services, and provide teller services—including loan payments, withdrawals, night deposits, and mail deposits. Work Schedule Full‑time, Monday through Friday, 7:15 a.m. – 5:45 p.m. (location schedule dependent). 40 hours per week. Pay $15.77–$23.65 per hour. Provide teller services, including loan payments, withdrawals, night deposits, mail deposits, and other teller transactions. Handle member requests with complete accuracy and in a timely manner. Make decisions on check acceptance, following established policy guidelines to reduce risk and prevent monetary losses. Comply with all federal and NCUA regulations, including Reg CC, the Bank Secrecy Act, Reg D, and Truth in Savings. Process share deposits and withdrawals, VISA credit card payments, VISA advances, mortgage payments, and other related transactions. Refer members to credit union services that best meet their financial needs, including product accounts and electronic delivery channels. Provide official checks and money orders. Redeem savings bonds. Complete CTR reports for transactions that exceed federal thresholds. Operate and balance coin machine and postage machine for outgoing mail. Submit checks through the Check Imaging system. Open and close the building daily, ensuring the alarm system is activated and deactivated, and prepare day‑end reports. Maintain security and cash drawer, open and close the computer terminal, and accurately balance cash against the computer balance sheet. Perform day‑ending balancing of inventory items and close out VISA advances. Identify and correct errors in paperwork in a timely manner, with supervisor assistance. Explain credit union products and services to members, cross‑sell when appropriate. Communicate with members regarding account usage, balances, inquiries, copy requests, address changes, and administer procedures to process items.
