Job Description: We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in networking systems to join a high-performing engineering team building a leading SD-WAN platform . In this role, you will design and develop scalable, high-performance networking and security components , with a focus on routing, packet processing, and embedded systems . You will work on complex, real-world problems involving multi-core systems, distributed networking, and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain packet processing and routing software components Implement and enhance routing protocol functionality and network control-plane features Develop multi-threaded, high-performance software for embedded networking platforms Build integrations with third-party networking and security modules Prototype and validate new features for proof-of-concept and early-stage solutions Debug and resolve complex networking and system-level issues , including performance bottlenecks Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, systems, product) to deliver production-ready features Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field 6+ years of experience in embedded or systems software development Strong programming skills in C (C++/Python a plus) Experience building multi-threaded applications on Linux or similar systems Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, L2/L3 concepts) Hands‑on experience with packet processing systems or dataplane development Strong debugging, problem‑solving, and system design skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, IS-IS) Familiarity with Linux kernel networking and system‑level internals Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN) and SD‑WAN architectures Experience with high‑performance and scalable systems design Exposure to network security technologies (e.g., VPN, IPsec, firewalling) Experience in distributed systems or performance tuning in production environments What We Can Offer You: Health & Wellbeing We strive to provide our team members and their loved ones with a comprehensive suite of benefits that supports their physical, financial and emotional wellbeing.
