Shape organizational success in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.Job DescriptionOverviewLead fund accounting operations for private assets, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional client satisfaction in a dynamic and collaborative environment.Drive strategic initiatives, including technology automation and process optimization, to enhance operational efficiency and team productivity.Collaborate with industry professionals to deliver innovative solutions and maintain strong client relationships.Contribute to organizational objectives through strategic planning and execution of fund accounting processes.Participate in talent acquisition, onboarding, and professional development to build and retain a high-performing team.Ensure compliance with internal policies, external standards, and regulatory requirements across all operations.Act as a liaison with clients, external parties, and internal teams to foster strong professional relationships.Champion innovation and excellence in private asset fund accounting practices.Key Responsibilities & DutiesManage daily operations and resource allocation to meet and exceed client service level agreements effectively.Review fund-specific expenses, accounting work, and client deliverables for accuracy and compliance.Coordinate external audit processes and ensure timely responses to client inquiries and requirements.Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to optimize workflows and deliverables effectively.Evaluate team performance, provide constructive feedback, and conduct comprehensive performance reviews.Identify training needs and organize professional development plans to enhance team capabilities.Facilitate effective communication within the department and across other organizational groups.Participate in technology automation and efficiency initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.Minimum 8 years of experience in private equity accounting; leadership experience required.Strong knowledge of US GAAP, waterfall structures, and financial statement preparation processes.Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with FIS Investran PE accounting platform is desirable.Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to manage relationships effectively.Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and achieve strategic organizational goals.Experience in client relationship management and external audit coordination is essential.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in financial operations and reporting.
