Senior Technical Recruiter, Connected Warfare (Contract) Location: Seattle, Washington, United States or Costa Mesa, California (6‑month contract) Anduril Industries is a defense technology company dedicated to advancing military capabilities through AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking. What You’ll Do Move fast with a process for consistently sourcing, tracking, and maintaining a high volume of candidates while communicating with stakeholders. Establish deep trust and partnership with business leaders to influence talent strategy and execute hiring deliverables. Build trust through consistent performance and a strong operating rhythm in partnership with cross‑functional stakeholders. Embed yourself into the business to understand product positioning, market fit, technical roadmap, and team culture. Develop a strong understanding of the mission and pitch the team and opportunity to close exceptional technical talent. Track and analyze pipeline and performance data to gain insights and translate them into a data‑driven narrative. Build recruiting strategies that support long‑range growth, implementing best practices around referrals and process improvements. Act as subject‑matter expert in prospecting techniques and tools used for information retrieval, data extraction, web‑scraping, process automation, and candidate management. Conduct interviews with potential candidates, demonstrating the ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences and achieve high interview‑to‑offer ratios. Engage passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Boolean strings, referral and SOBO campaigns. Provide a consistent and positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting process with proactive communication and engagement. Required Qualifications 6+ years of recruiting and sourcing for technical roles, closing top‑tier engineering talent (startup/software experience preferred). Experience hiring candidates in robotics specialties such as computer vision, perception, motion planning, localization, and mapping. 4+ years of client interaction, working with hiring managers and directors to take new requirements, review profiles, and update pipeline progress. Consultative experience with guidance leading to improved outcomes and positive candidate experience. Strong understanding of technical skills required for engineering positions within the business. Clear and effective communication with candidates to understand motivation, drivers, and fit. Experience managing various candidate funnels and tracking progress throughout the recruitment process. Working knowledge of applicant‑tracking and HRIS systems. Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods. Familiarity with a wide variety of sourcing avenues. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Startup, Tech, and relevant domains such as AAV, UAS, AUV, weapons or related programs. Self‑sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision. Resilient and creative, able to troubleshoot and create solutions on the fly. Strong attention to communication, sharing information in a timely and efficient manner. Ownership mindset, accountable for your universe and aligned with business objectives. Low ego, high curiosity, valuing learning over being right, accepting feedback. Compensation Hourly range: $70–$80 USD. The hourly rate is an estimate based on a range of factors. Compensation may vary based on experience, education, and skill.
