Life Insurance Sales Agent

You’ll serve on the front lines of insurance sales, helping new customers navigate our products, processing claims and inquiries, and developing an ever-growing lead list to secure new business. Responsibilities: • Address existing and prospective customer requests in a prompt and friendly matter, including booking new meetings and responding to inquiries regarding billing, eligibility, coverage, claims, and insurance policies • Grow new business by generating a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products via networking, asking for referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies • Evaluate new customers’ insurance needs, insurance risk, existing coverage, long-term goals, and financial status through consultations to create a tailored experience that exceeds expectations • Process current policyholders’ insurance claims while monitoring the status of existing insurance claims • Manage electronic and paper records and ensure all contracting paperwork is kept current Qualifications: • Background in the health insurance or life insurance industries preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required • Current Life & Health insurance license is greatly valued • Customer service or experience as a sales representative are highly valued • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products • Must be authorized to work in the United States • Only candidates with an active Life & Health insurance license will be considered for this position Compensation: $80,000 at plan earnings
