Fulfillment Center Area Manager

Role Overview Area Manager supports QVC, overseeing the distribution operation department, partnering with other departments. Reports to the Operations Manager. Monitors, prioritizes, assigns, and reviews processes to maintain departmental efficiency and meet productivity, service, and quality goals. Location Onsite at the Ontario, CA fulfillment center; relocation assistance is not available. Responsibilities Develop and administer operational procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of products, and maintain inventory accuracy. Network and consult with corporate/site resources and facilities staff to ensure low‑cost efficiencies and high service levels. Model QVC Group values and operating principles to build a positive, motivating, engaging culture, treating all employees fairly, ethically, and respectfully. Review existing operations to identify improvements that reduce costs, increase speed, and enhance customer service. Oversee daily operations for the assigned area, partnering with other departments. Identify, report, and communicate trends and irregularities to the Department Manager. Analyze deficiencies and develop plans to correct them. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, distribution, logistics or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 2+ years of demonstrated leadership/supervisory experience in a high‑volume distribution center or warehouse environment. Experience encouraging a positive work environment and partnering with employees. Compensation & Benefits Salary ranges from $80,000 to $87,000.
