Direct Support Professional

Kahak Health Care Services is a service provider for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our mission is to foster independence through compassionate support, helping individuals to achieve their goals and enhance their quality of life. We provide in-home support services, community coaching, and respite care. As an employee of Kahak Health Care Services (KHCS) you will be a part of a team of skilled and dedicated professionals who value integrity, respect, and teamwork. Duties of Direct Support Professional (DSP): The DSP provides direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and/or behavioral health needs. The DSP assists individuals in achieving independence, improving daily living skills, participating in community activities, and maintaining health and safety in their home and community. This position requires compassion, professionalism, and a strong commitment to person-centered support. Requirements A minimum of one year experience in the medical or a related field (social work, psychology, nursing assistance, etc.) and a high school diploma or equivalency. Must be 18 years of age.
