What You'll Do

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and restore operations safely and efficiently.
• Inspect, repair, and replace motors, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, and other critical machinery components.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation to diagnose equipment issues.
• Utilize electrical testing equipment, diagnostic tools, and hand tools to identify root causes and implement repairs.
• Support overhead crane maintenance and other facility equipment needs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate recurring issues and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with production teams to drive equipment performance, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Adhere to all safety standards, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and best maintenance practices.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, fabrication, steel, or a similar environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience maintaining industrial machinery, including motors, gearboxes, drives, and related equipment.
• Ability to safely use diagnostic equipment, electrical testing devices, and maintenance tools.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• PLC troubleshooting experience.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic system experience.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
• Experience with overhead cranes and material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical controls and automation systems.

Work Environment

This position is based in a busy manufacturing facility where you'll work around large-scale industrial equipment and steel fabrication processes. The environment is fast-paced, team-oriented, and focused on safety and operational excellence.

Schedule

2nd Shift

• Monday through Friday
• 4:30 PM to 4:00 AM
• Overtime available based on production needs

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.

The pay range for this position is $18.80 - $20.05/hr.
