Description

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients in an inpatient or outpatient setting and formulate personalized treatment strategies
• Deliver physical therapy treatments focused on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Engage with nurses, physicians, case managers, and allied health professionals to optimize patient care outcomes
• Guide patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, planning for discharge, and required home exercises
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress in alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements
• Take part in interdisciplinary team rounds and care conferences to ensure coordinated treatment efforts

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Additional certifications (for example, in neurology or geriatrics) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience is strongly preferred
