Pediatric Private Duty Nurse (LVN/RN) – Boerne , TX 78015

Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN Opportunities Available

First Steps Nursing and Therapy is seeking compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide one-on-one care for a pediatric patient in the home setting.

Case Details

• Patient: 10-year-old

• Care Needs: G-tube care; ambulatory (Low Acuity)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Setting: School-based nursing case in NISD

• Location: Boerne/Fair Oaks Ranch, TX 78015

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on nursing care to the assigned patient

• Assess the patient’s condition and document observations

• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies

• Provide and manage G-tube, ventilator, and tracheostomy care

• Monitor vital signs and perform ongoing nursing assessments

• Communicate changes in condition to the nursing supervisor and/or physician

• Educate and support family members and caregivers

• Complete accurate and timely documentation in Kantime

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered Texas RN or LVN license

• Current CPR certification

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to perform required physical tasks, including lifting, standing, and transfers

• Pediatric or high-acuity experience preferred but not required

• Willingness to complete required in-office and on-site training
