Our organization is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Surgeon with specialized training or significant experience in foot and ankle surgery to become part of our collaborative, mission-focused team. • Engaging Surgical Practice:
  Manage a fulfilling variety of orthopedic trauma cases (including hip and ankle fractures) and intricate foot/ankle procedures, such as ankle arthroplasties. Benefit from comprehensive support from midlevel providers and residents.

• Commitment to Academic Excellence:
  Instruct and guide University of Arizona orthopedic residents, engage in interdisciplinary academic initiatives, and explore opportunities for research and medical education collaboration.

  Collaborate with three other skilled orthopedic surgeons and a proficient team of six mid-level professionals along with an orthopedic resident. Share on-call duties, ensuring robust coverage and collegial support.

  Practice at a 295-bed ‘Flagship‘ Joint Commission-accredited level 1a teaching hospital situated on a tranquil 150-acre campus. • Provide direct clinical care and manage perioperative processes for orthopedic trauma, specializing in foot & ankle surgery.

• Lead, mentor, and educate within a thriving academic setting.

• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams within the VA and community partners.

• Engage in continuous quality improvement, specialty program development, and hospital committee activities.

• Utilize advanced resources and contribute to program development.

• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

• Board Certified/Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.

• Fellowship training or substantial experience in foot and ankle surgery (including arthroplasty) is highly preferred.

• Active, full, and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state.
