Senior Accountant

About the Role Under general supervision, the Senior Accountant (Financials) oversees general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions. This position is also responsible for maintaining the ERP financial systems, general ledger, and month end close process. The Senior Accountant produces data analysis, financial reporting, and audit schedules. This individual will work with leadership, department heads, and our clinics to assure all necessary resources are available to provide the highest level accurate financial data across multiple entities. In addition, the Senior Accountant will work with the Controller to ensure efficient processes that reduce risk and promote meaningful, insightful data for the organization. What You Will Do Produce the financial statements each month Reconcile certain balance sheet accounts Produce entries for closing of the month Perform miscellaneous assessments and provide improvement recommendations Assist with tax audits Support month-end and year-end close process Finalize COGS and Inventory reports Review SG&A and make appropriate reclass entries Conduct ad hoc research and reporting as requested by management Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions Manage international (CERF/Global Health) transactions Requirements What you bring to the table Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or a related field A minimum of 3 years accounting experience Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures and solid knowledge of Cost of Goods Sold, inventory practices and Operating Expense cost containment Strong knowledge of Excel and advanced formulas Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive financial and proprietary information Ability to work independently while building effective work relationships, working towards meeting established targets/goals Tech‑savvy, results‑driven and highly analytical; individual is a relationship builder with high EQ and communication skills that allow for effective influencing of a variety of stakeholders Sound judgment, strong work ethic, professionalism, and integrity Relevant certifications in the field (if any), in good standing The ability to roll‑up your sleeves to tackle operational work Must be detail oriented and able to handle complex instructions with care and follow‑through Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in execution of assigned tasks Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast paced, demanding environment Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare best practices (nice to have) Passionate about longevity, healthy aging, healthcare and committed to personal self‑care, healthy lifestyle, and personal growth Experience with ERP systems (Salesforce) and Great Plains strongly preferred Investments in your health A flexible working environment 100% employer‑paid employee medical, dental, vision, short‑term disability and life insurance/AD&D for eligible employees Voluntary health benefits (life insurance, critical illness, and accident coverage) Health Savings Account with company contributions (subject to plan selection) Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) Worldwide Emergency Travel Assistance Program Paid vacation, sick, bereavement and jury duty for eligible employees 10 paid holidays annually Education assistance program Employee Referral Program Paid volunteer time off and team events Generous 401(k) company match Gym dues reimbursement Employee Discounts Other great perks and benefits Equal Opportunity Employer Cenegenics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
