Gillaspie Manufacturing, Inc. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Buyer - Customer Relations to join their team in Vancouver, WA. Responsibilities:

• Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, components, and supplies to support manufacturing operations
• Serve as a key point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders, lead times, and procurement status
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to ensure on-time delivery
• Review purchase orders, contracts, and pricing agreements for accuracy and compliance
• Resolve supply chain disruptions and customer concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, production, quality, and logistics teams to align procurement with business needs

Requirements:

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, or buying within a manufacturing environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency with ERP or inventory management systems
• Ability to negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers effectively
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
• Two years of experience in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred
