This includes providing groups, education, food challenges, and input to dietary policy/procedures. Demonstrate a desire and willingness to embrace and model the Aster Springs mission within your job responsibilities and interaction with others.This position involves a hybrid work schedule, with approximately 60% of duties performed in person at our Dublin, OH location, and 40% conducted virtually from home. The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for running one evening of virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) programming and conducting individual virtual IOP client sessions weekly.Relationships and ContactsWithin the organization: Maintains frequent and close working relationships with clients, Executive Director, fellow RDs, Nursing, Medical, Therapists, peers, and vendors.Outside the organization: May initiate and maintain working relationships with clinical providers, referral partners, and vendors as needed and directed.Essential ResponsibilitiesConduct individual sessions with a case load of virtual IOP clients and in-person IOP and PHP clients one time per weekEngage with client families during family week as neededLead one evening of virtual IOP programmingLead cooking and nutrition groups weeklyFacilitate therapeutic meals and snacks with clientsAssist with oversight of nutritional content and accuracyDetermine and monitor caloric intake for clientsProvide nutritional education to clients and staffWork with clients and staff to coordinate discharge menus and meal plansCollect, review, and approve weekly client menusCollaborate closely with the Executive Director and other RDs on all dietary policies and proceduresDetermine and monitor appropriate weight for clientsCoordinate discharge planning, including identification and coordination of care with outpatient dietitiansAssist with preparation of staff and kitchen to comply with infection control policies and all accrediting body visitsQualificationsBachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major in nutrition/dietetics or a related field; Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration; 1-year or more of clinical experience with eating disorders strongly preferred; 1 plus years' experience in health-care setting, Ohio Certified Dietitian preferred.Aster Springs Outpatient provides equal employment opportunities without regard to race, color, creed, ancestry, national origin, ethnicity, sex, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, age, disability, gender identity, genetic information, service in the military, or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, state, or local law.
