Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist II - $2,400 per week

Job Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Normal, Illinois. The position starts on 06/15/2026, will last 13 weeks, and requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in various clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments per procedural guidelines. Administer a variety of respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients. Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation. Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories; evaluate equipment for proper function and report malfunctions. Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples per procedure guidelines. Collaborate with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuity of care. Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support. Qualifications Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification. Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) may be required. Strong proficiency in vision requirements (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth, focus). Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and lift up to 50 pounds; ease lifting up to 20 pounds. Additional certifications may be required before assignment. Compensation Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
