Substitute Bus Aide
Hourly Rate: $17.00/hr.
Qualifications:
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment physical, fingerprint-based background check, and Employment History Review.
- Ability to work well with students, including those with disabilities.
Reports To: Director of Transportation
Job Goal: To assist in providing safe transportation so that students may enjoy the fullest possible advantage from the district's curriculum and extracurricular program.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assists the bus driver in maintaining good student conduct on the bus.
- Assists young or disabled students in getting on and off the bus.
- Assures that students get on and off the bus in an orderly manner.
- Provides written records of violations of the student code to the bus driver.
- Collects and turns over to the bus driver those personal items left on the bus by students.
Terms of Employment: Part-time, as needed to cover absences
