Line Cook

Position Summary

The Line Cook position is responsible for assisting the back-of-house team with preparing ingredients and high-quality food in a timely, efficient, sanitary, and consistent manner. This role plays a critical part in ensuring an excellent dining experience for our guests by executing menu items according to established recipes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure all food is cooked to the proper temperature and presentation.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before and during service.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff to ensure timely service.
• Handle food storage, labeling, and rotation to minimize waste.
• Support closing and cleaning procedures, including equipment sanitation and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a line cook or in a kitchen environment is preferred.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in food quality.
• Attention to detail with a focus on presentation and food safety.
