If you thrive on solving complex challenges, developing people, and driving projects forward with integrity and precision, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.Key Job ResponsibilitiesProcurementBuild and manage bidders lists with a strong understanding of local market capabilitiesDevelop project-specific bidding strategiesLead distribution of bid documents and manage bidder engagementOrganize and run pre-bid meetingsOversee bidder Q&A and ensure clarity across all scopesDevelop detailed work scopes and mentor others in their creationPrepare front-end bid documents aligned with owner requirementsEvaluate bids, conduct post-bid reviews, and award packagesWrite and negotiate subcontracts, including complex agreements (professional services, design-assist, etc.)PlanningLead development of complex project schedules, including logic and sequencingCreate site logistics plans in collaboration with the SuperintendentBuild multi-element cash flow and manpower projectionsConduct constructability reviews and identify gaps or risksReview preconstruction estimates for scope completenessOversee jobsite setup, mobilization, and staffing plansField OperationsEstablish and champion the jobsite safety plan and cultureEnsure timely and thorough punchlist completionSupport labor relations and union interactions as neededImplement emergency and crisis procedures and ensure team readinessManage owner equipment coordinationFacilitate MEP overhead coordination and/or BIM processesCost ManagementCreate and manage the general conditions budgetIdentify and minimize non-reimbursable costsSet up trade budgets and maintain accurate logs in PrologReview budget entries and validate reporting accuracyMonitor project costs and ensure effective change managementOversee creation and issuance of cost items to contractorsSupport owner contract changes and amendmentsMonitor job profitability and payment timelinessTeam & Stakeholder ManagementLead project team meetings and maintain strong communication channelsMentor and supervise jobsite staff, fostering growth and accountabilityEnsure timely processing of RFIs and submittalsImplement office procedures for documentation, correspondence, and archivingManage relationships with architects, engineers, and code officialsOversee agency acceptance and final approvalsSupport pursuit of new work, including RFP responses and presentationsRequired Knowledge, Education, Experience, Skills, and AbilitiesBachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications preferred. Proven experience (7+ years) managing large-scale aerospace and defense construction projects. Strong understanding of aerospace and defense industry standards, regulations, and security protocols. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficiency with project management software and tools. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple complex projects simultaneously. Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
