Dresden Nuclear Station in Morris, IL is looking for an exceptional Regulatory Engineer or Sr Regulator Engineer to join the Dresden team! This is a multi-level role that can be filled at the Regulator Engineer level E02 or the Sr Regulator Engineer level E03. Please see below for minimum qualifications for each level. Job Levels & Compensation Regulator Engineer (Job Code XLAK) Expected salary range of $95,400 to $106,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). Sr Regulator Engineer (Job Code XLAJ) Expected salary range of $117,000 to $130,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). Primary Purpose of Position Responsible for performing regulatory and technical tasks, under general supervision, in support of nuclear plant operations. Must have good grasp of techniques and a good understanding of the fundamental functions performed by the respective group. Works independently with broad supervisory review. Has some latitude to make regulatory decisions within accountabilities. Department Specific Roles/Responsibilities: Regulatory Assurance includes the following functions: corrective action and self‑assessment/benchmarking program implementation, regulatory compliance and communications (Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Region and State interface), and regulatory programs (e.g., commitment management, operating experience, Nuclear Regulatory Commission performance indicators, etc.) implementation. Support day‑to‑day site operations including Plant Operations Review Committee (PORC) process, Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR) change process, plant Technical Specifications support, operability and reportability support, inspection planning and support, case management, integration of operating experience into daily activities, leadership for ongoing corrective action and self‑assessment activities, and implementation of site commitment management items. Implement policies, programs and processes as designed, feeding back suggested changes to Corporate for improvements. Communicate site issues with regulatory significance to Licensing organization to gain support and enable fleet‑wide learning. Provide site‑specific administrative support for the Nuclear Safety Review Board (NSRB) function. Dry Cask Storage includes the following functions: regulatory support for dry cask storage program implementation, governance of 72.48 and 72.212 processes, and regulatory compliance and communications (Nuclear Regulatory Commission Region and State interface). Support day‑to‑day dry cask storage operations including Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR) and Certification of Completion (CofC) change processes, Technical Specifications support, operability and reportability support, inspection planning and support, and case management. Provide analysis for resolution of dry cask storage licensing issues for the fleet. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Perform regulatory and technical tasks as assigned by supervision. Assure all regulatory products prepared are in accordance with applicable procedures, licensing basis, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements. Participate in the development and implementation of effective processes and techniques at appropriate levels of detail and in compliance with established policies and procedures. Recommend format and methodology improvements to standard processes and procedures. Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department. Regulator Engineer Minimum Qualifications (Job Code XLAK) Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree. Minimum of 2 years of professional experience. Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties. Regulator Engineer Preferred Qualifications Nuclear Power Experience Preferred. Engineer in Training Certification. Sr Regulator Engineer Minimum Qualifications (Job Code XLAJ) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree. Minimum 6 years of professional experience. Effective written and oral communication skills. Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties. Sr Regulator Engineer Preferred Qualifications Previous Nuclear Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license/certification Preferred. Advanced technical degree or related coursework. #J-18808-Ljbffr
