Title: Animal Care Technician - Temp-to-Hire
Location: Hollister, CA
Duration: 3 Months (Temp-to-Hire Opportunity)
Interview: Onsite
Training: On-the-Job Training Provided
Pay rate : $18-$19/hr. on w2
IMPORTANT : This is a temporary position with the potential to convert to a full-time employee based on performance and business needs.

Schedule
- Monday-Thursday: 9 hours/day
- Friday: 4 hours/day
- Start time assigned between 4:00 AM - 6:00 AM
Must have one of the following:
- 1+ year of experience in animal husbandry or related animal care work, or
- Associate degree or higher
- Perform routine animal husbandry and daily animal care activities.
- Monitor animal health, welfare, behavior, and environment.
- Identify and report abnormal animal conditions or findings.
- Collect health-monitoring swabs according to established schedules.
- Handle, transfer, and dispose of animal supplies and waste.
- Maintain animal rooms and work areas in accordance with GMPs and SOPs.
- Complete housekeeping and sanitation duties.
- Maintain animal population records and inventory documentation.
- Follow procedures to maintain barrier room integrity.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Support colony management and production operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
