Pay Rate: $48.00

Location: Jefferson City, MO

Schedule: M - F: 9:30 - 6

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to provide immunization services in a clinical setting. In this role, you will assess patients, administer vaccinations, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and provide exceptional patient care while following established nursing standards and protocols. This position requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with healthcare professionals and clinic staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and determine eligibility for immunizations through appropriate screening procedures.
• Safely administer vaccines in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, and patient consent.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation using Vaccine Administration Records (VAR).
• Monitor patients before, during, and after vaccine administration and respond appropriately to patient needs.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians, supervisors, and other healthcare team members.
• Coordinate vaccination clinic activities with designated liaisons to ensure efficient clinic operations.
• Utilize computers and electronic documentation systems to maintain patient records and communication.
• Effectively communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians, clinic staff, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as assigned.
• Report patient progress, care needs, and treatment goals during transitions of care.
• Demonstrate effective time management, leadership, and organizational skills while delivering quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
• Minimum of two years of specialty nursing experience (such as infusion therapy, maternal-child health, disease management, pediatrics, or related specialties).
• At least three months of Home Health experience.
• Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Comfortable working under stressful conditions while maintaining professionalism.
• Reliable transportation to travel to assigned clinic locations.

Preferred Skills

• Immunization and vaccine administration experience.
• Patient assessment and clinical documentation.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) proficiency.
• Excellent customer service and patient education skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
