Commercial Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks a highly skilled Commercial Litigation Attorney in Cherry Hill, NJ. This role is perfect for a dedicated attorney passionate about commercial litigation, requiring meticulous attention to detail and comprehensive legal expertise across multiple practice areas.
Duties
- Manage and oversee all phases of commercial litigation cases from inception to resolution.
- Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other tools to support case strategies.
- Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
- Advise clients on a broad spectrum of legal issues such as estate planning, environmental law, and more.
- Develop case strategies through negotiation and advocacy to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive legal support across practice areas.
- Maintain detailed case files and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements.
- Stay current on evolving laws and regulations through continuous research and professional development.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Bar admission in the states of New Jersey and Delaware, required.
- Proven expertise in litigation across multiple practice areas.
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively advocate for clients' interests.
- Proficiency in legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal drafting.
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues quickly and develop strategic solutions.
- Effective communication skills for client interaction and courtroom advocacy.
- Must be skilled in Outlook, Word, Excel, Lexis Research, and Adobe.
- Familiarity with NetDocs, a plus.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Bar admission in the states of New Jersey and Delaware.
