Physical Therapist (School)

Physical Therapist (School-Based) We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide evaluation and therapy services to students in a school setting. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about supporting student development and collaborating with educational teams. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive student evaluations Develop and implement individualized therapy plans of care Provide direct physical therapy services in accordance with physician orders (when applicable) Maintain accurate and timely documentation Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families Ensure compliance with all professional, state, and federal standards Minimum Requirements Current Physical Therapist license in the state of practice Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program At least 1 year of experience preferred Strong knowledge of professional standards and best practices Current CPR certification (if applicable) TB screening (PPD, questionnaire, or chest X-ray as required) Current health certificate (per state/contract requirements) Must meet all federal, state, and local compliance requirements Must be 18 years or older Position Details Setting: School-based (Physical Therapy) Schedule: 37.5 hours per week Contract Length: 36 weeks Start Date: September 2, 2026 Compensation Local Pay Rate: $65/hour Highly competitive rates with strong earning potential Benefits Competitive pay & weekly paychecks Health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) savings plan Awards and recognition programs Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status Amergis is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
