Overview Registered Nurse - ER, travel assignment in Kapaau, Hawaii (North Kohala area). Start date 10/05/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,349 to $2,478 per week. Shift: 12-hour rotating days and/or nights, including weekends and holidays. This assignment involves float between Med-Surg and ED in a rural, critical access setting and requires strong EPIC experience. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,349–$2,478 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour rotating days/nights with weekend/holiday involvement Start date: 10/05/2026 Location: Kapaau, Hawaii (North Kohala area) Setting: Float RN covering Med-Surg and ED in a rural, critical access environment; EPIC proficiency highly valued Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care in the ER and float between Med-Surg and ED as needed Perform initial assessment, ongoing monitoring, triage, and care planning for acutely ill or injured patients Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per physician orders; monitor for adverse effects Document patient care accurately in the EPIC EMR; communicate changes to the care team Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure safe, efficient patient flow and care transitions Respond to emergencies, participate in codes as appropriate, and promote patient and family safety and education Requirements EPIC EMR experience required or strongly preferred Ability to float between Med-Surg and ED settings and adapt to changing patient needs Willingness to work a rotating 12-hour schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays Commitment to a 13-week travel assignment Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills Benefits and Support Dedicated recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment Credentialing and onboarding assistance to facilitate a timely start Ongoing assignment logistics support and coordinated communications with the hiring organization Access to a network of travel opportunities for future roles through Healthforce Healthcare LLC Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
