Requirements

• 2 years current L&D experience — required
• Postpartum / Mother Baby experience — required
• BSN — required
• Active Massachusetts RN license
• AHA BLS
• NRP
• STABLE
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years
• Current L&D, Postpartum, and Mother Baby skills checklists
• Traveler must have own vehicle
• Permanent address must be included with profile
• 50-mile local restriction

Scheduling / RTO

• All RTO must be submitted with the initial profile
• Maximum 5 days RTO — less is preferred
• No schedule accommodations or block scheduling
• Requests made after submission/interview/offer will not be approved
• Must be available to work required holidays

Holiday Requirement

Traveler must work two holiday blocks , if scheduled/needed:

• Thanksgiving Day + Friday + following weekend
• Christmas Eve + Christmas Day + following weekend
• New Year's Eve + New Year's Day + following weekend

Facility / Unit

Fairview Hospital is a community hospital in the southern Berkshires with maternity services, C-sections, 24-hour anesthesia availability, emergency services, general surgery, orthopedics, and other acute-care services

The Family Birthplace provides private rooms and dedicated equipment for labor, delivery, and newborn care. L&D nurses work closely with OB physicians, midwives, and lactation consultants.
