Talented Individual Opportunity At Marsh

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Urbandale, Iowa. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

In this important function, you will provide experienced, independent operational support across policy servicing, billing, invoicing, and account reconciliation activities. You will process routine and complex policy changes, enrollments, renewals, cancellations, and nonpayment items while helping ensure service levels and accuracy are maintained.

We will count on you to:

• Process routine and complex policy change requests, including coverage adds, deletes, updates, effective date changes, and endorsements
• Process multiple quotes and enrollments to create new policies using multiple carrier application systems
• Process policy renewals and cancellations
• Follow procedures to resolve nonpayment report items such as missed payments, future cancellations, and set refunds and invoice offsets accordingly
• Monitor, request refunds, and process invoice offsets to balance accounts
• Monitor aged receivables and escalate issues to the team supervisor as needed
• Perform basic and complex billing and invoicing reviews
• Demonstrate ownership of customer inquiries and follow through to resolution
• Contact policyholders to obtain information required to complete transactions
• Follow existing SOPs and recommend process improvements to support best practices
• Ensure contractual SLA requirements are achieved

What you need to have:

• HS Diploma or Equivalent
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

What makes you stand out:

• 5+ years of experience in policy processing, billing, invoicing, or related insurance operations
• Experience working with multiple carrier application systems
• Familiarity with refunds, invoice offsets, and aged receivables
• Knowledge of policy lifecycle processes, including renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and enrollments
• Ability to identify and recommend process improvements
