Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions with clients, using secure online platforms to ensure confidentiality and comfort.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique mental health needs and personal goals.
• Regularly assess and monitor client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic client records, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards in mental health practices.
• Collaborate with a team of mental health professionals, sharing insights and strategies to enhance client care and improve therapeutic outcomes.
• Educate clients on coping strategies, resilience-building techniques, and self-care practices to empower them in their mental health journey.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on best practices and emerging trends in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. Our client-centric approach emphasizes building strong therapeutic relationships, allowing you to foster trust and openness as you guide clients toward achieving their mental health goals. Using telehealth technology, you can engage with a diverse clientele, ensuring that all individuals, regardless of their location, receive the support they need.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active state licensure as a mental health therapist in New Jersey, including:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Licensed Psychologist (PsyD)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective interactions in a virtual setting.
• Proficiency with telehealth tools and technology, ensuring smooth and effective remote service delivery.
• Ability to manage time effectively, maintaining a full caseload while delivering quality care to all clients.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience providing individual therapy or counseling in an online format.
• Demonstrated familiarity with electronic health record systems and teletherapy platforms.
• A background in crisis intervention or emergency mental health services is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
