Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Deliver immersive family therapy sessions aimed at empowering parents and caregivers to develop a nurturing atmosphere for their children. \n
- Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for each patient, utilizing shared insights and best practices. \n
- Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective support to stabilize young individuals. \n
- Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment modalities, and community resources, promoting informed decision-making. \n
- Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards to uphold the integrity of patient records. \n
- Participate actively in weekly team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge. \n
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately evaluate the emotional and psychological needs of children and adolescents. \n
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique developmental stages and family dynamics of each patient. \n
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at addressing a variety of mental health concerns common in youth populations. \n
Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents facing issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, and ADHD. By working closely with young patients, you will contribute to their emotional healing and personal growth, making a genuine difference in their lives and fostering resilience.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or equivalent in California is required. We are currently not able to accept applicants with associate licenses. \n
- A comprehensive understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and the ability to apply evidence-based therapeutic modalities effectively. \n
- Experience providing individual and family therapy specifically aimed at young individuals, demonstrating a compassionate and child-centered approach. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities that enable rapport-building with children, adolescents, and their families. \n
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and competent in general computer applications necessary for remote service delivery. \n
- A collaborative spirit that aligns with our multidisciplinary approach to patient care. \n
- A master’s degree in counseling, social work, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience. \n

- Prior experience in an outpatient setting focusing on child and adolescent mental health. \n
- Familiarity with best practices in telehealth service delivery, particularly in a remote work structure. \n
- Engagement in ongoing professional development activities, such as workshops and trainings related to youth mental health. \n
