Job Summary:

The inventory specialist will stock and maintain accurate records of vehicles & vehicle parts. The role requires monitoring and management of all incoming/outgoing products. Record keeping is essential to the functionality of the department and must be kept current and accurate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory management and reporting
• Stocking of warehouse and maintaining warehouse cleanliness
• Inspecting receivables for quality and verifying for accuracy
• Investigate variances and work with internal teams to resolve inventory issues.
• Organize and maintain storage areas to support safety, accessibility, and efficiency.
• Prepare inventory reports and communicate stock status to relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate with purchasing, operations, warehouse, and other teams as needed.
• Assist with replenishment planning to help prevent shortages and overstock situations.
• Follow established procedures for handling, labeling, and documenting inventory.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 2 years of Inventory experience preferably within the manufacturing
• Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, logistics, or a related field preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of inventory control, forecasting and analysis
• Excellent communication and record management skills
• Time management with the ability to delegate in order of propriety
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. +
• Understanding of manufacturing or production line process
• Understanding of safety protocols in a workshop setting or warehouse

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cycle counting, reconciliation, and inventory audits.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, receiving processes, or supply chain practices.
• Familiarity with barcode scanners, handheld devices, or inventory tracking tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Compensation:

• $20 - $25 hourly , depending on experience.
